RESET is proud to announce the achievement of RESET Air Certification for Commercial Interiors (v2.0) for The Financial Times (Hong Kong) Limited, the first RESET Air Certified project in the Year of 2021.

The Financial Times (FT) is an international daily newspaper printed in broadsheet and published digitally that focuses on business and economic current affairs. The Financial Times (Hong Kong) Limited is located on the Nan Fung Tower in Central, Hong Kong.

Working with M Moser Associates, the design and consultant team for this project, the Financial Times Hong Kong office understands the value of good air quality and decided to pursue RESET Air Certification.

The Financial Times Hong Kong office shows its care for people. Its indoor working spaces have deployed RESET Accredited indoor air quality monitors according to the RESET Air Standard’s requirements. Project team keeps reviewing the indoor air quality weekly to make sure the office is operating in good condition.

Throughout the initial three-month data audit phase, the project had to demonstrate the ability to maintain IAQ within the thresholds required by the RESET Air Standard. The Financial Times Hong Kong office has been awarded with RESET Air Certification for Commercial Interior (v2.0) on January 2021.

Air quality indicators and thresholds for RESET Air Commercial Interior (v2.0) include:

The above air quality indicators and thresholds are based on industry best-practices and international standards. Targets are requisite for the projects pursuing RESET Air Certification. Additionally, temperature and relative humidity are continuously monitored, although no specific thresholds are prescribed.

After obtaining RESET Air certification, the project must maintain these thresholds in order to keep its certification status. Air quality data is collected via air quality monitors and evaluated daily by the RESET Assessment Cloud. Additionally, air data must share with project occupants to foster education and promote social equity.

The Financial Times Hong Kong office is also a WELL certified project.
