Holbein Gardens

London, United Kingdom

Holbein Place is a 1980s-built office building in need of refurbishment to align it with the needs of office workers and the local community. In September 2020, Grosvenor submitted a planning application to the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea Council to create one of London’s most sustainable office buildings. The proposals include refurbishing and extending the building to create a high quality, flexible and sustainable workspace. Holbein Place will utilise a thoughtful approach to sustainability with the intention to make this an exemplar sustainable office refurbishment. The use of biophilia and greening, enhances the site’s biodiversity and ecological resilience, whilst also making a positive contribution to the wellbeing of the local community. The scheme also includes some of the industry’s most innovative sustainable products, challenging suppliers to use recycled materials to reduce waste.
